10 products I am a diehard fan of

Thursday, 13 June 2019

Being obsessed with all things make-up, beauty and skincare has meant throughout the years I have accumulated a list of products I couldn’t live without.

1. Fanola Purple Shampoo

Maintaining blonde hair is like a full-time job and over my four years as a blonde, I have learned a few tricks of the trade. Fanola shampoo is the ultimate saviour – this keeps my hair ashier than any other purple shampoo whilst between hair appointments. Anyone looking to keep their hair as blonde as possible needs to invest in this.

2. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil

I don’t get spots often, mostly hormonal when I do but this is a life saver when I do. Tea tree is a great at reducing redness and blemishes, The Body Shop product is no different. It absorbs quickly into your skin, reasonably priced at £10 and is 100% vegan.

3. Revolution Conceal and Define Concealer

Revolution has taken the beauty world by storm by being affordable, great quality AND cruelty free. Normally when products are as cheap as £4, you wonder if they are actually going to be good or just a waste of money but not with Revolution. This is the best concealer I have ever bought, it has a creamy texture whilst being dewy with good coverage. What more could you want?

4. Dr Palmers Coconut Oil Hair Range

As a bleached blonde, I have to invest in a lot of products to try and keep my hair in good condition to ensure the bleach doesn’t ruin it. Dr Palmers Coconut Oil Range has been one of these saviours I needed, the protein pack hair mask is a saviour to anyone with damaged hair – not just blondes. A product not featured is the Strong Roots Spray which I swear by, using it after every single time I wash my hair.

Superdrug’s own ranges absolutely kill it and this is no different. The perfect skincare routine you need for the upcoming months of sunshine. These products are lightweight and designed to detox the skin whilst making it look brighter and more refreshed. No more dull and tired looking skin after you use these products.

6. Tangle Teezer Brush

Embarrassingly, I never had a tangle teezer brush until I got one as a Christmas present. As someone who has mega knotty hair this is a must have, even if you don’t the tangle teezer is a superior hair brush. Its whole design is centred around getting through your hair pain free and easily. Retailing at just less than £10 can feel a bit steep for a hair brush, but it is an investment worth having.

7. The Body Shop Banana Mask

The majority of my beauty and skincare collection comes from The Body Shop but I’ve managed to only allow myself to put two products on this list, my absolute favourites. Hair care is something deeply important to me, as well as most other girls I’m sure. The banana range from the body shop, specifically the mask is definitely a must have for anyone looking after their hair.

8) Too Faced Melted Matte Lipstick

Ever since I first purchased this lipstick from this range 2 years ago, I’ve never bought another brand since. This is easily the best quality lipstick I’ve bought, it’s super easy to apply with such a varied shade range. I’ve never had a lipstick with staying power like this – I apply in the morning and it still looks perfect when I take my make up off before bed. Slightly expensive at £19, but worth it.

9) Lush Sleepy Lotion

For anyone who has trouble sleeping, or just wants a better night sleep this lotion is necessary. This super smooth and silky lavender lotion is designed to help you get to sleep at night, which it does. I apply all over so I keep getting the lavender scent as I sleep throughout the night.

10) Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow

Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of the most popular make up brands in the world and with good reason too. Famous for their brows, it’s easy to understand why. Since I first purchased dipbrow, I have ever gone back to another brow product. I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love this.
